Controversial Reality TV Star Couple Jenelle Evans and David Eason Could Face Legal Consequences in Connection with the Treatment of Their Children
Jenelle Evans and David Eason, the embattled reality TV stars, are now facing the possibility of legal charges against them for their alleged neglect and assault of their children. It has been reported by sources close to TMZ that the couple will likely be charged in the near future. These charges are a result of an investigation into the recent disappearances of Jenelle’s 14-year-old son, Jace.
Over the past several weeks, Jace has gone missing on multiple occasions, with his most recent disappearance leading him to confide in his grandmother that he snuck out of a window at home after Eason allegedly attacked him. However, Evans immediately denied these allegations and instead blamed her estranged mother for spreading lies about her family.
Evans expressed her frustration and confusion regarding her mother’s actions, stating, “Honestly idk why my own mother is acting the way she is. I feel now she’s using police to falsely report just trying to make us look bad as a family. There are multiple people involved in this situation and they know the truth, and so does God.”
The situation with Jace is further complicated by the fact that he has primarily been under the care of his grandmother, Barbara Evans, for the majority of his life. Jenelle only obtained full custody of Jace in March of this year, which has raised questions about her ability to properly care for her son.
Jace’s recent disappearances have sparked concerns among those close to the family, especially in light of the disputes between Jenelle and her son over his cell phone usage. In August, Jace ran away from home after an argument with his mother, who claimed that she had confiscated his phone due to trouble he had gotten into at school. It’s worth noting that Jenelle defended herself, stating, “Jace is a good kid, and we’re not dealing with anything that most families don’t deal with while raising children.”
However, just two weeks after the initial incident, Jace went missing for a second time and was subsequently found at a local gas station. These alarming incidents prompted Child Protective Services (CPS) to open an investigation into the situation. As a result, Jenelle temporarily lost custody of Jace and is currently prohibited from having any contact with him.
In the midst of this ongoing investigation, The Sun has reported that a judge has ordered Jenelle to make her two youngest children, daughter Ensley and son Kaiser, available for questioning. This order aims to determine if there have been any instances of abuse involving the younger children that warrant further investigation.
According to the police, during their interviews with Jace, he disclosed that Eason had assaulted him prior to his recent disappearance. Furthermore, officers noted visible marks on Jace’s neck and arm that supported his claims. Additionally, TMZ has obtained information suggesting that there is video evidence of the alleged assault, currently in the possession of law enforcement.
This is not the first time that Evans and Eason have faced dire consequences for their actions as parents. In 2019, CPS removed all of their children from their home for approximately one month after Eason shot and killed the family dog. This incident led to significant public backlash and intensified scrutiny of their parenting abilities.
As this distressing situation unfolds, we will continue to monitor and report on any new developments.
