Biden ‘Insists’ on Running Again Despite Being 80 Years Old Because of Trump

President of the United States, Joe Biden, responded to concerns from the public about his age as he prepares to run for the 2024 U.S. presidential election.

Biden acknowledged that many people are worried about his age, but he still wants to run to challenge Donald Trump, whom he accused of wanting to “destroy” American democracy.

“Many people seem to be focused on my age. I understand, believe me, I know it more than anyone,” Biden said at a fundraising event, as quoted by AFP.

He added, “I am running because democracy is at stake because in 2024 democracy will be at stake again. There is no doubt, Trump and the Republican Party are determined to undermine American democracy.”

Biden emphasized that he will not bow to a “dictator” and accused Trump of doing the same to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to polls, American citizens have concerns about Biden’s age as he prepares for the 2024 presidential race against Trump.

If Biden runs again in the upcoming presidential election and is elected as president, he will be 86 years old at the end of his term.
