Cristiano Ronaldo Outstanding Milestone in Football Career with Goal and Assist at Al-Nassr

Renowned Portuguese footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo, marked his 1,200th appearance in his professional career by scoring a goal and providing an assist for the Saudi Arabian club, Al-Nassr.

In the match against Al-Riyadh, which ended with a 4-1 victory, the 38-year-old tapped in a cross from Sadio Mane and later assisted his teammate, Otavio.

Ronaldo expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to his reaching this milestone but added that he is “not done yet.”

Currently, Ronaldo is the top scorer in the Saudi Pro League with 16 goals in 15 games this season.

The record for the highest number of competitive appearances by a male player is acknowledged to be held by former English goalkeeper Peter Shilton, with 1,387 matches.

The Saudi Pro League confirmed through social media that Ronaldo had achieved this milestone, and the player later posted on Instagram: “Three more points! Grateful to all my teammates who helped me reach my 1,200th match. What an incredible journey, but we’re not done yet.”

Ronaldo also achieved a milestone in his 1,000th senior appearance by scoring a goal for Juventus in Serie A in February 2020.z z z z z z z z z z z z z

In his club career appearance records, Ronaldo leads the list for all-time appearances in the Champions League (183), where he represented Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus.

He also became the first player in history to score 800 top-level career goals when he surpassed that total playing for Manchester United in December 2021 and has since exceeded the 850-goal mark.
