“Decrease in LPG Prices Following Fuel Price Hike”

The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority has raised the prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by approximately Rs40, just a day after petrol prices crossed the Rs300 mark in Pakistan.

Following the fuel price hike, transporters and Pakistan Railways have already increased their fares.

Earlier, the interim government on Friday increased the petrol price by Rs14.9 per liter, as per a notification issued by the Finance Ministry.

In detail, the petrol price has reached Rs305.36 per liter, with an increase of Rs14.9 per liter.

Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been raised by Rs18.44 per liter to Rs311.84.

It’s worth noting that several fuel stations across the country were closed a few hours before the anticipated price hike.

The rise in fuel prices has added to the woes of people already grappling with high inflation.
