Manchester United is ready to release Donny van de Beek to Real Sociedad.

The Donny van de Beek transfer saga appears to be coming to an end. Manchester United is starting to soften and is ready to let him go to Real Sociedad.

It’s been widely known that Van de Beek wants to leave Manchester United. The Dutch midfielder needs regular playing time, something he hasn’t been getting at the Red Devils.

Currently, there is one club strongly linked with Van de Beek. That club is Real Sociedad, which is reported to be very interested in acquiring the services of the midfielder.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Sociedad’s chances of signing Van de Beek are increasing. Manchester United is starting to soften its demands regarding the transfer.

According to the report, the transfer process of Van de Beek to Sociedad has been somewhat difficult.

Sociedad wants to initially loan the midfielder. Only at the end of the loan period would they have the option for a permanent purchase.

However, Manchester United is reported to be unwilling to agree to this offer. They prefer Sociedad to directly buy the midfielder on a permanent basis.

After several rounds of negotiations, Manchester United is said to have started to soften its stance regarding the transfer of Van de Beek.

The Red Devils are reportedly willing to release the midfielder on a loan basis. However, they have set one condition for Sociedad.

The option-to-buy clause is being changed to an obligation-to-buy. This means that no matter what happens, La Real must buy the midfielder at the end of the loan period.

Manchester United itself is reported to have already determined the transfer fee for Van de Beek.

They are willing to part ways with the midfielder for a fee of around 20-25 million Euros this summer.

Sofyan Amrabat attracted attention at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. He helped Morocco reach the semifinals before being eliminated by the 2018 World Cup winners, France.

Amrabat also had a significant season with Fiorentina. He led the Italian club to the final of the UEFA Europa Conference League, although a late goal from Jarrod Bowen saw West Ham United lift the trophy in Prague.

He has made 107 appearances for Viola since moving from fellow Serie A team Hellas Verona in August 2020. Amrabat scored one goal during that three-year period.

Amrabat’s performance has put him on Manchester United’s radar in the summer transfer window. However, according to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils are considering other midfield options due to competition to attract him.

It’s understandable as Manchester United has reportedly held talks with Tyler Adams of Leeds United. The 24-year-old player is unlikely to stay at Elland Road as the club is relegated to the Championship this season.

The American national team player impressed in 24 starting appearances in the Premier League for Leeds despite their relegation. Tyler is eager to play at the highest level to secure his place in the future national team.

The report also claims that Erik ten Hag’s team is interested in Amadou Onana. The Everton player could be an alternative if the deal for Amrabat cannot be agreed upon.

The former Lille player moved to Goodison Park in August 2022. He became a key player for the Toffees, who narrowly avoided relegation from the Premier League for the first time.

Manchester United has not yet made an official bid for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat. The Red Devils need to offload some of their key players before bringing in new players to Old Trafford.

Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay are two players who are available for a move this summer. Former MU boss David Moyes is reportedly hoping to bring both of them to West Ham United.

The East Londoners are said to have planned a dual offer of £60 million to lure the players to London Stadium. The winners of the UEFA Europa Conference League value both of them at around £30 million.

Brazilian international player Fred is another midfielder who could leave the club this summer. Premier League club Fulham and several Saudi Pro League teams are interested in recruiting the 30-year-old player.

Manchester United has reportedly brought in three new players during this summer’s transfer window. MU signed Mason Mount from Chelsea.

The Red Devils then acquired Andre Onana from Inter Milan. The former Cameroonian national team player made his debut under Erik ten Hag’s coaching.

Man Utd has also completed the transfer of Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta. The Danish striker was introduced before a friendly match against Lens at Old Trafford on Saturday (8/5/2023).

Fabrizio Romano reports that Manchester United is currently working on four transfer negotiations scheduled to be completed soon.

First, negotiations with West Ham United for Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay, with the latest reports on this news previously discussed here.

The Hammers have long been known to be interested in both players and have submitted an offer of £116 million to bring them both to London.

The offer, especially for Scott McTominay, has been rejected by Manchester United, who demanded £77 million for him. However, both clubs have not withdrawn from negotiations and hope to find a solution in the future.

Second, talks about Donny van de Beek’s move to Real Sociedad. It is reported to be a loan deal with an obligation to buy as the Dutch midfielder wants to revive his stalled career at Old Trafford.

This report was also previously discussed by the Daily Mail, which stated that Manchester United would be willing to loan their midfielder to the La Liga club if certain conditions are met for an obligatory purchase option.

Third, is a permanent transfer out for Fred, with several clubs interested in his services, but so far, there have been no offers that can be accepted by The Red Devils.

Fabrizio Romano revealed that the Brazilian international midfielder is almost certain to leave, with his No.17 jersey already prepared to be given to their new recruit, Rasmus Højlund.

Fourth, are incoming transfer negotiations, with Manchester United still hoping to add two more players after the arrival of their three main targets: Mason Mount, Andre Onana, and Højlund.

The two transfer targets in question are midfielder Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina and Jean-Clair Todibo from OGC Nice, but their transfers will depend on the club’s success in selling the names discussed above.

Efforts to bring the Moroccan international midfielder will be made after the club successfully sells Fred, who is targeted by Turkish and Fulham clubs, in addition to the potential departures of Donny van de Beek and Scott McTominay.

Meanwhile, efforts to bring in Jean-Clair Todibo will be pursued if Manchester United succeeds in offloading Harry Maguire, who has received a £580 million offer from West Ham.

Rasmus Hojlund has already joined Manchester United. The Danish player is ready to fight for the Red Devils.

In this summer, MU is searching for a central striker. The choice of The Red Devils fell on Atalanta’s striker, Hojlund.

To acquire Hojlund, MU had to dig deep into their pockets. Manchester Evening News reported that the transfer fee reached £72 million.

“Of course, I’m still 20 years old. So, I still have a lot to learn. But, I hope I can become a world-class striker as soon as possible,” he added.

During MU’s pre-season, Hojlund has not played for Manchester United. In the first week of the Premier League, MU will face Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The match will take place at Old Trafford on Tuesday (8/15/2023), with kickoff at 2:00 AM WIB. Hojlund will make his debut in the MU vs Wolverhampton match.
