Kailyn Lowry, former star of Teen Mom, has confirmed that she recently welcomed her fifth child in a podcast interview with Aurora Culpo discussing the Culpo Sisters reality show.
Kailyn Lowry has made a big announcement about her family. The Teen Mom alum subtly revealed that she has welcomed her fifth child during an episode of her podcast Baby Mamas No Drama with Aurora Culpo. Kailyn shared that she first came across Aurora’s show while she was in the hospital giving birth to one of her children. She specifically mentioned an episode in which Aurora discussed her separation or divorce with her parents and her sister taking care of her kids.
Although Kailyn did not provide details about the timing of the new arrival, the episode of the reality series featuring Aurora and her sisters Olivia and Sophia likely aired in late December.
Kailyn, who was recently linked to Elijah Scott, is already a mother to four children. She has a 13-year-old son named Isaac with her ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera, a 9-year-old son named Lincoln with her ex-husband Javi Marroquin, and a 5-year-old son named Lux and a 2-year-old son named Creed with her ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez.
After welcoming Creed in 2020, Kailyn expressed her openness to expanding her family further. She stated in an interview with Us Weekly in 2021 that she did not have immediate plans for more children but was undergoing IVF and egg retrievals to potentially have the option in the future.
While Kailyn chose to keep her most recent pregnancy private, she shared a heartfelt message on Instagram earlier this year to celebrate her eldest son Isaac’s birthday. She expressed her admiration for his growth and personality, describing him as thoughtful, brilliant, funny, and occasionally a smartass. Kailyn also expressed her wishes for Isaac to have a year filled with happiness, adventure, and the achievement of his goals.
