It’s crazy, the wedding industry.”

While Vanessa encountered several surprises in the wedding planning journey, one aspect that particularly stunned her was the hefty price tag attached to bridal gowns. She continued, “My best friend is getting married as well, and she’s going through it, and I was just like, ‘My God, dresses are so expensive.’ It’s nuts.” The entire process leading up to the big day left the 34-year-old actress admitting it has been “kind of mind-blowing.”

Vanessa and the Colorado Rockies shortstop, Cole Tucker, initially ignited romance rumors in November 2020, nearly two years before their engagement. Although they got engaged in the fall of 2022, Vanessa officially confirmed the news in February 2023, sharing her dazzling engagement ring on Instagram just before Valentine’s Day. “YES. We couldn’t be happier,” she captioned the affectionate photos, with the second slide showcasing the sparkler against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Recently, Vanessa expressed her adoration for Cole on Instagram, sharing a picture of the couple at one of his recent baseball games on August 12. She captioned the post with a playful “Hehe,” accompanied by heart and champagne bottle emojis. Her post received an outpouring of positive reactions from her 50.8 million followers, with one admirer writing, “She is so deserving of a love that’s true,” while another chimed in with, “These smiles make me happy.”

Prior to her relationship with Cole, Vanessa was famously in a relationship with Austin Butler, aged 32, known for his role in “Elvis,” from 2011 until their breakup in 2020. Austin has since moved on and is currently dating model Kaia Gerber, aged 22. Austin and Cindy Crawford’s daughter were first linked in 2021 and made their official debut as a couple at the Met Gala in May 2022.
