A bracelet made from the tire that helped Michael Schumacher win a race in F1 is now available for purchase.

The Schumacher family’s Keep Fighting Foundation has teamed up with Monegasque jewelry brand Mongrip to launch a new accessories collection called MZ96. This limited edition consists of 91 bracelets made from the rubber of Schumacher’s winning tire from the 1996 Italian F1 Grand Prix.

The foundation offered a preserved rear tire from the winning Ferrari F310B to create these unique relics. The use of this tire, out of all the different Schumacher memorabilia, makes these bracelets one of the coolest and most original items. This particular tire was from a Ferrari victory at Monza, which occurred after an eight-year drought, making the relic even more collectible.

The bracelet itself has a minimalist and super elegant design. The spliced tire rubber still features the original woven nylon from the Goodyear Eagle F1 tires, which were mounted on stunning gold BBS wheels back in the day.

According to Mongrip, the decorative clasp is made of platinum and features various engravings. On one side is the dragon emblem that became popular on Schumacher’s helmets during the latter stages of his career, as well as seven round-cut diamonds – one for each of his F1 titles. On the other side of the clasp, you will find the iconic Schumacher monogram that imitates the silhouette of an F1 cockpit, as well as the serial number of the bracelet.

The first bracelet, numbered 01, recently sold at a Bonhams auction for an astonishing $32,600. The next seven serial numbers will be available for purchase on December 7 via the Mongrip website. Those interested in owning one of these limited-edition bracelets will have to pay 8,000 euros, which is approximately $8,700 at the current exchange rate.

The MZ96 collection is not only a unique way for fans to own a piece of Michael Schumacher’s history but also supports the Keep Fighting Foundation’s charitable efforts. The foundation was established by Schumacher’s family to continue the F1 legend’s legacy and support initiatives related to excellence in sport and activity, including road safety and science.

The partnership between Schumacher’s Keep Fighting Foundation and Monegasque jewelry brand Mongrip has created a distinctive opportunity for fans and collectors alike. The MZ96 collection celebrates one of Schumacher’s victories in a truly unique and stylish way, as well as contributes to the ongoing efforts of the Keep Fighting Foundation.
