Adele Delays Las Vegas Residency Due to Health Issues

Adele, the renowned British singer, has made the difficult decision to postpone several dates of her highly anticipated Las Vegas residency, “Weekends with Adele,” as a result of falling ill.

In a heartfelt message shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday, Adele revealed the unfortunate circumstances, stating, “Sadly, I have to take a beat and pause my Vegas residency. I was sick at the end of the last leg and all the way through my break. I hadn’t quite gotten the chance to get back to full health before shows resumed.”

Regrettably, Adele finds herself unwell once again, with her voice bearing the brunt of the toll. She explained, “And so, on Doctors’ orders, I have no choice but to rest thoroughly.”

Adele expressed her sincere apologies to her devoted fans, announcing the postponement of the five weekends of concerts scheduled through March 30. She assured ticket holders that information regarding the rescheduled dates will be promptly provided.

“I love you, I’ll miss you like mad, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience,” Adele conveyed in the caption accompanying her post.

The critically acclaimed singer launched “Weekends with Adele” at the Colosseum Theater at Caesars Palace in November 2022, with the current concluding performance date set for June 15.

CNN has sought comments from representatives of both Adele and Caesars Palace, but no further information has been released at this time.

In a related development, Adele recently unveiled plans for a special European residency in Munich, Germany, beginning on August 2. In her announcement, she shared her excitement about spending the summer closer to home and concluding a remarkable phase of her life and career with these special shows.
