Atalanta is urging the Red Devils to finalize the transfer of Rasmus Hojlund by the end of this month.

There is new information circulating about Manchester United’s hunt for a striker. Atalanta is urging the Red Devils to finalize the transfer of Rasmus Hojlund by the end of this month.

After acquiring Mount and Onana, MU is focused on securing a new striker. The Red Devils need additional firepower in their attack to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.

MU has reportedly locked in one name as their transfer target. Currently, they are focused on bringing in Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta.

European transfer expert, Alfredo Pedulla, claims that Atalanta doesn’t want this process to drag on. They are pressuring MU to complete the transfer of the striker soon.

According to the report, Atalanta recently held an internal meeting regarding Hojlund’s future.

In that meeting, Atalanta’s stakeholders agreed to part ways with the striker. However, they don’t want this process to drag on, as they need to find a replacement for the striker.

Atalanta coach, Gian Piero Gasperini, reportedly requested that this transfer be completed by the end of this month so that La Dea will have enough time to find a replacement for the striker.

According to the same report, Atalanta has set a transfer fee for Hojlund.

They are asking for a package worth £70 million for the striker. £60 million in upfront payment plus £10 million in add-ons.

Atalanta doesn’t want to accept offers below this amount. So, if MU is serious, they have to pay that much to secure Hojlund’s services.

The same report also claims that MU could be outbid if they take too long in the Hojlund transfer process.

Rich French club, PSG, is also reported to be interested in hijacking the striker this summer.

Andre Onana is hopeful about his future at Manchester United. The goalkeeper is determined to make a mark with the Red Devils.

As previously known, Manchester United lost their first-choice goalkeeper this summer. The Red Devils decided not to renew the contract of their main goalkeeper, David De Gea.

Earlier today, MU officially announced De Gea’s replacement. They signed Andre Onana from Inter Milan as their new first-choice goalkeeper.

Onana expressed his happiness about joining the Red Devils. “Joining Manchester United is a great honor, and I have worked very hard throughout my career to be in this moment,” Onana said on MU’s official website.

Onana acknowledged that Manchester United has a long history with some of the best goalkeepers in the world of football.

The goalkeeper is determined to create his own history with the Red Devils as a top goalkeeper.

“Manchester United has a long history with great goalkeepers. I will do everything to create my own history with this great club in the coming years,” Onana continued.

Onana also admitted that one of the reasons he accepted Manchester United’s offer is that he gets a chance to reunite with Erik Ten Hag.

He enjoyed working with the manager when they were both at Ajax, and he believes that the manager will further develop him in the Red Devils squad.

“I am very excited to get the chance to work with Erik Ten Hag again. I can’t wait to be part of the success he is pursuing for this great club,” he concluded.

Onana has already flown to the United States to join his teammates in their preseason training there.

The goalkeeper is potentially making his debut this weekend when Manchester United faces Arsenal at Metlife Stadium.

The rumors about Alex Telles joining Al-Nassr this summer seem unlikely to come true. The Saudi Arabian club is reportedly not pursuing the defender this summer.

Telles’ name is on Manchester United’s transfer list. Erik Ten Hag doesn’t need the Brazilian defender as he already has Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw on the left side of his defense.

Romano reported that since a few days ago, Manchester United and Al-Nassr have verbally agreed on Telles’ transfer.

The Saudi Pro League club is planning to pay £4 million for Telles’ services. MU is said to have agreed to the price.

As a result, the current MU management is waiting for Al-Nassr to send the transfer documents of the defender so they can process it.

According to Romano’s report, Al-Nassr suddenly changed their minds. They are reconsidering whether to recruit Telles or not.

They are now reportedly looking for another left-back. They will prioritize finding a new left-back from Saudi Arabian clubs.

It’s not explained why Al-Nassr changed their minds. However, Romano mentioned that the deal for Telles might potentially fail.

MU doesn’t need to worry, though, as there are still many clubs interested in the defender.

Several European clubs and Brazilian clubs are reported to be ready to accommodate the 30-year-old defender this summer.

Mason Mount’s performances with Manchester United continue to attract public attention. The player acquired from Chelsea is expected to help strengthen the Red Devils this season.

Mason Mount returned to play for Manchester United in their second pre-season friendly against Olympique Lyon. In the match at Murrayfield, Edinburgh, Scotland, on Wednesday night WIB (July 19, 2023), MU defeated Olympique Lyon 1-0.

The only goal in this match was scored by Donny van de Beek. Although participating in the pre-season match, this player is likely to be sold this season. Manchester United needs fresh funds to finance the purchase of new faces.

Meanwhile, Mount became Erik ten Hag’s first signing this summer after joining United from his childhood club, Chelsea, in a deal worth £55 million earlier this month.

The 24-year-old player made his debut against Leeds United last week, playing 45 minutes during their 2-0 victory. However, Mount still seemed to be forcing himself during the match.
