Chinese Company Successfully Develops World’s Fastest Humanoid Robot, Covers 3.3 Meters in a Second

A company in China has successfully developed a humanoid robot claimed to be the fastest in the world. The robot, named Unitree H1 Evolution V3.0, has the ability to run, as demonstrated in a circulating video accessible on the internet.

In an official statement on the Unitree Robotic YouTube video on Sunday (3/17/2024), the company referred to the robot, dubbed as H1, capable of running at a speed of 3.3 meters per second. This achievement surpasses the previous record of only 2.5 meters per second.

In the video, the H1 robot, with a human-like appearance, featuring two hands, two legs, a torso, and a head, is seen running wearing a black t-shirt and trousers. Its movements are quite fast, though not as smooth as those of the Optimus Elon Musk robot.

The H1 robot, standing at 1.8 meters tall and weighing less than 30kg, is also captured dancing alongside two other similar robots. The video demonstrates the balance and agility of the robot, as it can jump as high as a human.

The robot is also skilled at picking up objects from robotic dogs and climbing small stairs before turning. In another video, the robot is kicked to show how it regains its balance upon physical contact with other objects. !!!!!!!!

According to the company, the robot can withstand a load of up to 30 kg, and it claims the secret of its strength lies in its hips and knees, as they produce strong torque.

And if asked how the robot perceives its surrounding environment, it can navigate the world around it thanks to a combination of cameras and Lidar sensors (Light Detection and Ranging) embedded in its head.
