CJ Jimcoily, a highly regarded outside linebacker in the Rivals250, discusses his upcoming visits to ACC and SEC schools.

Rivals.com National Recruiting Analyst CJ Jimcoily has emerged as one of the top prospects in the 2025 class. Known for his versatility and ability to play multiple positions on defense, Jimcoily is drawing interest from programs in both the ACC and SEC.

Jimcoily, a 6-foot-3, 210-pound linebacker, has already visited several schools from both conferences and has been impressed by what he’s seen.

“I’ve been able to see firsthand the different coaching styles and facilities at these schools,” Jimcoily said. “It’s been a great experience and has helped me narrow down my options.”

In the ACC, Jimcoily has taken visits to Clemson, Florida State, and Virginia Tech. He was particularly impressed by the culture and success at Clemson.

“Clemson has built a winning culture under Coach Dabo Swinney,” Jimcoily said. “They have a great tradition of developing players and competing for championships. It’s definitely a program I’m interested in.”

Jimcoily also praised the coaching staff at Florida State, noting their emphasis on player development and the family atmosphere they foster within the program. As for Virginia Tech, Jimcoily was blown away by their state-of-the-art facilities.

“They have some of the best facilities I’ve ever seen,” Jimcoily said. “The attention to detail and commitment to providing players with everything they need to succeed is truly impressive.”

In the SEC, Jimcoily has visited Georgia, Alabama, and LSU. All three schools have a reputation for producing top-tier talent and competing for national championships.

“Georgia is a powerhouse in the SEC,” Jimcoily said. “They have a strong tradition of winning and consistently produce NFL-caliber players. It would be an honor to play there.”

Jimcoily was also impressed by the coaching staff at Alabama, specifically head coach Nick Saban.

“Coach Saban is widely regarded as one of the best coaches in college football history,” Jimcoily said. “His track record of success and ability to develop players speaks for itself.”

Finally, Jimcoily spoke highly of LSU and their passionate fan base.

“LSU has some of the most passionate fans in college football,” Jimcoily said. “Their support and enthusiasm create an incredible game-day atmosphere. It would be a great experience to play in front of that crowd.”

While Jimcoily has enjoyed his visits and gained valuable insight into the programs, he is still keeping an open mind and is in no rush to make a decision.

“I want to take my time and thoroughly evaluate all of my options,” Jimcoily said. “I have plenty of time to make a decision, and I want to make sure I choose the best fit for me both academically and athletically.”

In addition to his visits, Jimcoily has also been participating in camps and showcases to further showcase his skills. He recently competed in the Rivals Camp Series, where he received rave reviews from scouts and analysts in attendance.

“CJ is an incredibly talented and versatile player,” said one scout. “His athleticism and football IQ set him apart from other prospects. He has the potential to be a game-changer at the next level.”

As Jimcoily continues to receive interest from top programs, he remains focused on improving his game and ultimately reaching his goal of playing at the collegiate level.

“I’m grateful for all of the opportunities I’ve been given,” Jimcoily said. “I’m going to continue working hard and doing everything I can to make my dreams a reality.”
