Kanye West Accused of Battery After Allegedly Assaulting Man Who Grabbed His Wife
Kanye West is once again making headlines, this time for being named the suspect in a battery report. According to TMZ, law enforcement sources have revealed that police are investigating Ye after receiving a report that he punched a man late Tuesday night. The man he allegedly struck had reportedly pushed or grabbed Kanye’s wife, Bianca Censori.
A representative for Kanye has spoken out about the incident, stating, “‘Grabbed’ is grossly inadequate as a description of what happened. Bianca was physically assaulted.” The representative went on to explain, “The assailant didn’t merely collide into her. He put his hands under her dress, directly on her body, he grabbed her waist, he spun her around, and then he blew her kisses. She was battered and sexually assaulted.”
After the alleged altercation, Kanye and Bianca left the scene, and the victim did not require medical treatment for any injuries sustained.
Police are planning to reach out to Kanye for his account of the incident and will also speak to any witnesses. This is not the first time Kanye has been at the center of a battery investigation. In 2023, he was investigated for grabbing a photographer’s phone and throwing it into an intersection, although no charges were filed.
Additionally, earlier this year, a man sued Kanye for assault and battery, claiming the rapper had struck him in downtown L.A. in 2022 while saying, “I’m going to make a f***ing example of you.”
