The Kardashian sisters have opened up about their body insecurities, with Khloe Kardashian revealing that she felt like she was ‘wearing a fat suit’ before her weight loss journey.
As a child, Khloe Kardashian had the most confidence even when she was chubby, but her self-esteem took a hit after entering the world of reality TV.
At the age of 39, she decided to go on a diet after giving birth to her daughter, True, and successfully lost around 60lb (4.2 stone), resulting in a dramatic transformation that made her look completely different.
Khloe has now candidly discussed her transformation and admitted that before her weight loss, she felt like she was ‘wearing a fat suit’.
On the latest episode of her family’s Hulu show, Khloe was joined by her sisters Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian as they reminisced about their childhood.
The founder of Good American expressed that she had the most confidence as a child, recalling moments when she would proudly wear skintight bodycon dresses despite being chubby, and nothing could make her feel otherwise.
However, Khloe sadly confessed that society gave her insecurities, and as soon as she appeared on TV, she faced harsh criticism. Being different from her sisters made her feel inadequate. Even when she tried to change her appearance, using better makeup, fillers, and undergoing a nose job, she still faced constant bullying from people.
Back at Kourtney’s house, the Lemme founder reassured Khloe, stating that looking back, she wasn’t even chubby. However, Khloe insisted that she was, although she’s now come to terms with it.
Khloe then brought up an old picture of herself and likened it to wearing a fat suit.
In front of the cameras, she expressed that growing up in the public eye has its challenges, and regardless of their age, they are still evolving. Khloe believes that putting too much pressure on people is unfair, and they are all just doing their best.
Regarding her decision to get a nose job, Khloe revealed that she was influenced by her momager, Kris Jenner’s critical comments about her appearance. She pondered on how different her thoughts might have been if she hadn’t heard her mom’s opinions about her nose.
