In a candid interview for the show Sister Wives One-on-One special, Kody Brown openly admitted to a difference in his relationship with his fourth wife, Robyn Brown, as compared to his marriages with his other three wives. Kody claimed that he was never truly in love with his other wives, Meri, Janelle, and Christine, before he met and married Robyn in 2010.
In the interview, Kody, 54, confessed that he fell in love with Robyn in a way that he had never experienced before. He described feeling a sense of safety and vulnerability that brought him to tears of joy for months after meeting Robyn.
Robyn, however, stated that she was not aware of the unequal feelings that Kody had for her and the other wives until recently. She expressed that she did her best to not make the situation painful for the other wives, constantly suppressing and hiding her relationship with Kody.
