Szoboszlai Dominik első szavai magyar sztárként egy hatalmas liverpooli megmozdulást tesznek teljessé.

Liverpool have officially announced a move for Dominik Szoboszlai, with the Hungarian midfielder joining in a £60m deal after the Reds met his RB Leipzig release clause.

Dominik Szoboszlai has vowed to do “everything possible” after completing his move to Liverpool.

The Hungarian midfielder, formerly of RB Leipzig, is officially a Reds player after Jurgen Klopp’s side met his £60m release clause. He has taken up the number eight shirt, worn by former captain Steven Gerrard and recently worn by summer departure Naby Keita.

Szoboszlai, 22, follows Alexis Mac Allister in moving to Anfield as Klopp looks to rebuild after finishing fifth last season. In his first interview with club media, he spoke of his hopes on Merseyside as he prepares to make his mark in the Premier League.

“It’s really good,” said Szoboszlai after the move was official. “I enjoyed the last [few] days and I hope to get to know everyone better.

“The last three or four days have been very long; it’s not easy. But at the end I’m here, I’m happy and I can’t wait to get started.

“[A] very historical club, very good players, good coach, all good. For me it’s perfect to make the next step at a club like this. The fans, the stadium, everything is very good.”

Szoboszlai was also asked to give his first message to support Liverpool. “That I can’t wait to see you in the stadium and I will do everything possible from my side,” he said.

The former Red Bull Salzburg star moved to Leipzig in January 2021, though injury delayed his debut, and he scored 20 goals in two seasons in the German Bundesliga. He also scored seven goals in 32 senior appearances for Hungary, including the last-gasp winner against Iceland which saw his country qualify for Euro 2020.

Szoboszlai could make his senior Liverpool debut at Stamford Bridge, with the Reds traveling to face Chelsea in the opening matchday of the new Premier League season. Previously, Klopp’s team faced several pre-season matches in Germany and Singapore.

Former Barnsley boss Gerhard Struber, who worked with Szoboszlai in Austria, was full of praise for the 22-year-old. Struber was in charge of Liefering, where Szoboszlai started his career as a teenager before burning.

“I have a lot of big talents beside me like Naby Keita, Taki Minamino, Patson Daka – so many players who played for Leipzig in the German Bundesliga and then jumped to the Premier League,” the Austrian told Redmen TV. “I have so many. top talent beside me, but I can say that Dominik Szoboszlai has always been the one to surprise us.

“We see potential in him at the moment and also what I see and I never forget is sometimes the team has an off day and he is always on the pitch. He will train on the day off. I was in my office, I could see him outside and he would take special corners, free kicks with the ball on the pitch.

“I think that besides what a top talent he is, I can also see high ambition and in this direction, two things come together – very high work ethic plus super talent.”
