Two months later, in July 2019, Tesla launched its Model 3 lineup. During this launch, The prices for the Tesla Model 3 RWD and Tesla Model 3 Performance AWD remained the same at $66,000 and $98,624, respectively. However, the Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD’s price increased to $87,842, which included the luxury car tax (LCT).

Continuing into December 2019, the Tesla Model 3 RWD’s price remained unchanged at $67,900. On the other hand, the Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD experienced a price increase to $89,469, including LCT. The Tesla Model 3 Performance AWD also saw a price increase of 6.4 percent, reaching $99,869.

Fast forward to July 2020, all three models experienced price increases. The Tesla Model 3 RWD’s price rose to $73,900, marking an 8.8 percent increase. The Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD and Tesla Model 3 Performance AWD saw smaller increases of 2.4 percent and 2.1 percent, respectively, resulting in prices of $91,613 and $102,013.

However, in October 2020, Tesla implemented a significant price reduction across the Model 3 lineup. The Tesla Model 3 RWD’s price decreased by 9.5 percent to $66,900, while the Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD and Tesla Model 3 Performance AWD prices reduced by 8.9 percent and 9.4 percent, reaching $83,425 and $92,425, respectively.

Moving into April 2021, further price reductions were implemented, with all three models experiencing a 6.0 percent decrease. The Tesla Model 3 RWD, Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD, and Tesla Model 3 Performance AWD were now priced at $62,900, $78,458, and $94,058, respectively.

Continuing the trend, Tesla reduced the prices again in July 2021. In early March 2022, Tesla implemented a minor price increase for the Tesla Model 3 RWD to $60,900. However, the Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD saw a slight decrease of 0.3 percent to $73,200. The Tesla Model 3 Performance AWD’s price remained unchanged at $86,472.

On March 15, 2022, Tesla announced another price increase, this time more significant across all three models. The Tesla Model 3 RWD’s price rose to $63,900, marking a 4.9 percent increase. Similarly, the Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD and Tesla Model 3 Performance AWD saw increases of 4.1 percent and 6.0 percent, reaching $76,200 and $91,672, respectively.

Another price adjustment took place on June 17, 2022. The latest update to the Tesla Model 3 prices occurred on April 4, 2023. All three models experienced price reductions. Finally, on May 2, 2023, Tesla announced a minor price increase for the Tesla Model 3 RWD, now priced at $61,300, marking a 0.7 percent increase.
