The Valley: A Vanderpump Rules Spinoff Officially Greenlit! Who Will Be Part of the Cast?

Bravo’s New Spinoff Series, “The Valley,” Set to Premiere This Spring

Bravo is officially taking a trip down to the valley, as the cable network has confirmed that a Vanderpump Rules spinoff is on tap. Titled “The Valley,” the new show is set to premiere this spring. The first trailer for the upcoming season was launched during the Vanderpump Rules season 11 premiere party on Wednesday.

The cast of the show will feature Vanderpump Rules alumni Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, and Kristen Doute, alongside new additions Luke Broderick, Danny Booko, Nia Booko, Jesse Lally, Michelle Lally, Jason Caperna, and Janet Caperna. Jasmine Goode and Zack Wickham will appear as “friends” on the program.

The announcement of the new series follows the departure of Taylor, Cartwright, and Doute from Vanderpump Rules. Taylor and Cartwright were let go by producers in December 2020, as they were awaiting the arrival of their first child together. Doute was fired earlier in 2020 after she was involved in a race-based scandal alongside Stassi Schroeder.

According to a Bravo press release, The Valley “will follow a group of close friends as they trade bottle service in West Hollywood for baby bottles in the Valley all while they navigate bustling businesses, rocky relationships, and feisty friendships.” The first look features a glimpse at the new cast members as they navigate suburban life in the San Fernando Valley.

The show’s preview introduces viewers to a handful of newcomers as Taylor travels through the streets of the San Fernando Valley. “Jax! Stop messing around and mow the dang yard,” Cartwright says at one point in the teaser, to which Taylor replied, “Okay honey! Love you!’”

The new cast members include Luke Broderick, who is Doute’s new boyfriend, and Danny Booko and Nia Booko, who are neighbors of Jax and Brittany’s in California. Janet Caperna is a close friend of Brittany’s and her college pal, Zach; Jason is her husband. Finally, Jesse is another friend of Taylor’s with whom he previously lived and modeled together in New York. He now works as a luxury real estate broker alongside his wife, Michelle.

The storyline of the show revolves around the cast members navigating the challenges of adulting, including starting families and managing fledgling businesses. The show promises to offer an intimate look at the lives of Taylor, Cartwright, and Doute as they transition from their fast-paced lives in West Hollywood to the suburbs of the San Fernando Valley.

Bravo presents an all-new series about taking a shot at balancing the competing demands of adult life while still maintaining friendships and pursuing personal and professional goals. As the new series is set to launch this spring, fans are eagerly anticipating getting to know the new cast members and seeing how their stories unfold.
