Fiat Unveils Special Edition 500e Models Inspired by Italian Beauty and Music
Fiat has recently introduced two special edition models of its popular 500e electric hatchback, each designed to reflect different aspects of Italian culture. Priced at $37,595, the Fiat 500e Inspired by Beauty and Inspired by Music variants are set to add a touch of class and sophistication to the lineup.
Let’s delve into the details of these special editions starting with the Fiat 500e Inspired by Beauty. This model boasts an exclusive Rose Gold paint finish, body-color mirrors, and chrome window trim. The interior features beige faux leather upholstery for the seats and dashboard, adding a luxurious feel to the cabin.
On the other hand, the Fiat 500e Inspired by Music comes in Tuxedo Black, a standard color for the 500e, to match the musical theme. Renowned opera singer Andrea Bocelli has contributed to the design of this model’s audio modes. He has selected four different sound “places” for the JBL sound system, each aimed at creating a unique auditory experience. These sound modes include the “Music Room,” “My Recording Studio,” “Giuseppe Verdi Opera House, Pisa,” and “Open-Air Arena.”
While both special editions maintain the mechanical specifications of the standard 500e, they set themselves apart with the inclusion of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) technology. This feature, which enables adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist, allows for momentary hands-off driving on select roads. The standard Fiat 500e is expected to receive this technology in the future, but for now, it is exclusive to the “Inspired By” models.
In terms of performance, the special edition Fiat 500e models retain the 42-kilowatt-hour battery, a single front motor generating 117 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, and a range of 149 miles. Charging from empty to full takes approximately four hours and 15 minutes with an 85 kW charger.
With a starting price of $34,095 for the standard Fiat 500e, the Inspired By models offer added luxury and technological features at a slightly higher price point. This makes them an attractive option for consumers looking to elevate their electric vehicle experience without breaking the bank.
