Renowned singer Celine Dion has made the difficult decision to cancel her world tour due to a decline in her health. This news has left fans saddened and concerned for their beloved idol.
In a heartfelt announcement on her official Instagram account, Celine Dion personally shared the news of her deteriorating health condition.
“I sincerely apologize for once again disappointing all of you. I have been working tirelessly to regain my strength, but even at 100 percent condition, touring would pose significant challenges,” she wrote on her Instagram account @celinedion, dated Monday, May 29, 2023.
Expressing her sadness over the difficulties she faces in continuing the tour, Celine reassured her fans that she would not give up and expressed her eagerness to return to the stage and perform for them again.
“It is unfair to postpone the shows, and it breaks my heart. Cancelling everything until I am truly ready to return to the stage is the best decision for all of us. I want you all to know that I am not giving up… and I cannot wait to meet you all again,” she added.
Apart from the tour cancellation, Celine Dion was also unable to attend the premiere of ‘Love Again,’ a film inspired by her life story, causing further concern among her dedicated fan base.
As previously reported, Celine was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome in December last year, which has significantly impacted her ability to lead a normal life.

Reports from Pinkvilla indicate that Celine’s absence from the premiere of her new film was due to health-related issues. The premiere of ‘Love Again,’ featuring Priyanka Chopra and Sam Heughan alongside Celine, took place earlier this month, but the singer was unable to attend.
Sources close to the situation revealed that Celine’s condition has worsened to the point where she experiences difficulty walking and intense pain that seems to come out of nowhere.
