A few days after Jennifer Love Hewitt revealed her hair transformation, the former “Party of Five” star shared a message about “change” in her life.

The “9-1-1” star recently bid farewell to her long blonde hair, unveiling a short hairdo with a bold auburn color and long bangs on Instagram in anticipation of autumn. To show her excitement for her favorite season, Jennifer posted photos before and after her hair transformation on Instagram, captioning it with, “Ready for Fall.”
So, what triggered this change in appearance? The 44-year-old star seemingly hinted at the reason on her Instagram Stories on August 29, sharing a cryptic quote that read: “When a woman wants to change her life, she cuts her hair short.”
Beyond her appearance, Jennifer also gave her fans a glimpse into how she’s fostering internal changes by posting a fitness video. “Phew, half an hour on the StairMaster in this heat and sun,” she said in a clip that showed her, at 44 years old, with her newly dyed hair in a ponytail as she took a break from her workout. “One more round to go!”
In her next post, Jennifer playfully noted that she was truly exhausted. “Not cute but good for you,” she wrote as the caption for a sweaty selfie, tagging her trainer Leyon Azubuike. “One hour, done!”
And to wrap up a productive morning, the former “Party of Five” star treated herself to a healthy lunch—a “new favorite sammie” as she called it—with salami and pepperoncini sandwiched between two iceberg lettuce wedges, accompanied by a side of Hilo Life chips.
“And now, my reward,” she wrote beside photos of her meal. “Yummy.”
Certainly, the past few weeks have been busy for Jennifer. After all, she was busy planning a Hot Wheels-themed birthday party for her 2-year-old son, Aidan, whom she shares with her husband, Brian Hallisay. (The couple are also parents to 10-year-old daughter Autumn and 8-year-old son Atticus.)
Held over the weekend, the backyard celebration featured a pancake art station as a tribute to the birthday boy’s favorite food, a winner’s podium, and a custom cake adorned with racecars. Describing it as a “perfect memory,” Jennifer wrote on her “Holiday Junkie” Instagram account, “The party was a Hot Wheels dream!”
