Pennsylvania Shooter Profile: Uncovering the Facts

Andre Gordon Suspect in Triple Homicide

Authorities have provided information about the man accused of killing three people during a violent attack in Falls Township, Pennsylvania, on Saturday morning.

Moments of terror were experienced this weekend when the alleged shooter fired his gun to unleash chaos and barricaded himself inside a house in Trenton.

According to police sources, the suspect was believed to be in a house on the 100 block of Miller Street in Trenton, where he may have taken several people hostage.

However, according to police reports, he has finally been captured, as authorities have informed. Steve Wilson, director of police in the city of Trenton, stated that the man was found near the house where he was believed to have barricaded himself and was detained.

It appears he escaped the perimeter around the house before it was established. Wilson added that he did not believe the suspect was armed at that time and that no one else was injured during the capture.

The suspect who caused terror in Pennsylvania this Saturday was identified as Andre Gordon Jr., 26. Authorities stated they believe he killed his stepmother, his teenage sister, and the mother of his children in shootings that spread to two homes in Falls Township, in eastern Pennsylvania.

Authorities mentioned that Gordon had minor brushes with the law, but nothing indicated that something like this would happen.

The resulting chaos forced the cancellation of a St. Patrick’s Day parade and the closure of a Sesame Street-themed amusement park. Authorities in Bucks County, Pennsylvania issued a shelter-in-place order for several hours.

The incident began on Viewpoint Lane in Falls Township just before 9 am when police responded to reports of a shooting.

After fleeing in a stolen car and then stealing another in a store parking lot, Gordon went to the house in nearby Trenton, said authorities.

In the mid-afternoon, officers surrounded the house in a cordoned-off block, called out to Gordon with a loudspeaker, and tried to persuade him to come out. Schorn said police believe Gordon first broke into a house in the Levittown community in Falls Township. He killed his 52-year-old stepmother, Karen Gordon, and his 13-year-old sister, Kera Gordon.

Others three occupants, including a 14-year-old boy, hid while the suspect roamed the house looking for them, said the district attorney.

He said police believe the killer then drove to another house in Levittown and shot and killed Taylor Daniel, 25, the mother of his two children who were there. The victim’s mother was beaten with a rifle, Schorn said. The injured woman is expected to recover, according to The Associated Press.

Shaun Murphy, who lives in Levittown, said he was heading to the local St. Patrick’s Day parade when he saw the road had been blocked.

“All the neighbors were outside wondering what was going on, and then we got the notice about the shelter-in-place,” Murphy said.
