Kourtney Kardashian is truly embracing her pregnancy journey, as evidenced by her latest Instagram post. The 44-year-old celebrity showcased her growing belly while enjoying a day by the pool with her children.
In the photo shared on June 23, Kourtney confidently sported a green string bikini that accentuated her baby bump. She accompanied the picture with a caption describing their family outing at the “Spa House” oasis, simply stating, “sweet summer.”
The announcement of Kourtney’s pregnancy with Travis Barker came during a Blink-182 concert in Los Angeles on June 16. The couple, who got married in May 2022 in Italy, expressed their excitement about expecting their first child together and the seventh addition to their blended family.
Just two days after the concert, Kourtney unveiled the first glimpse of her baby bump through a heartfelt post expressing gratitude and appreciation for their fertility journey, which spanned two years. On June 18, she shared her overwhelming feelings, stating, “Overwhelmed with gratitude and joy for God’s blessing and plan.” Travis, aged 47, responded by saying, “God is great.”
Kourtney and Travis each have three children from previous relationships. Kourtney shares three kids—Mason Disick (13), Penelope Disick (10), and Reign Disick (8)—with her ex-partner Scott Disick. Travis has a son named Landon Barker (19), a daughter named Alabama Barker (17), and a stepdaughter named Atiana De La Hoya (24) from his previous relationship with Shanna Moakler.
However, the couple has expressed their desire to expand their family further. In an interview with Access Hollywood last year, Kourtney revealed, “I would love two [more kids], in a dream world. And we each have three—so six, seven, eight.”
Although they had halted the in vitro fertilization (IVF) process in early 2022, Kourtney shared on The Kardashians that they remained hopeful and believed in God’s plan for their family. She explained, “We would love a baby more than anything, but I just really believe in what God has in store for us… If that’s a baby, then I believe that it will happen.”
In January 2020, prior to her relationship with Travis Barker, Kourtney expressed her desire to have another child. When a follower asked if she was pregnant, she responded, “No, I wish.” A few months later, she reached out to another fan on social media, requesting them to “put the blessing out there.”
