Ben Rhodes Clinches Second NASCAR Truck Series Championship at Phoenix Raceway

The 2023 NASCAR Truck Series season came to an exciting conclusion on Friday, November 3, at Phoenix Raceway. After a thrilling race, Ben Rhodes of ThorSport Racing emerged as the winner, securing his second Truck Series title. Rhodes finished in fifth place, ahead of his fellow championship contenders Corey Heim, Carson Hocevar, and Grant Enfinger.

Christian Eckes also had a memorable race, becoming the second driver to win four races in the 2023 Truck season. Eckes crossed the finish line in first place at the season finale race, solidifying his success throughout the season.

With his fourth win of the season, Eckes earned 51 points, propelling him to fifth place in the overall standings with a total of 2319 points. Rhodes, on the other hand, gained 32 points and maintained his position at the top of the Truck Series standings. He currently has 4032 points, one win, and seven top-5 finishes to his name.

Among the other notable drivers in the season finale race was Jake Garcia, who finished as the runner-up. Garcia gained 37 points, placing him 13th in the points table with 534 points and three top-five finishes.

Although Corey Heim had started the race on pole, he failed to capitalize on that advantage and finished in 18th place. Heim earned 19 points for his performance, ending the season in third place in the points table with 4019 points. He secured three wins and 12 top-five finishes throughout the season.
