Leo’oolo Tevaseu Arrested for Crime

In a heartbreaking incident, a 31-month-old baby lost his life on Thursday morning, leading to the arrest of his own uncle, as reported by the police authorities in North Las Vegas.

Leo’oolo Tevaseu, a 21-year-old, is facing serious charges of open murder and child abuse resulting in substantial bodily harm, revealed the police after an exhaustive investigation.

The tragic incident took place in an apartment located in the 3400 block of Mercury St., near Civic Center Drive, at around 11 in the morning.

According to initial reports, authorities were alerted about a child who was unresponsive, as reported by 3 News. Medical staff responded promptly and transported the child to the University Medical Center Hospital in an attempt to save his life. Unfortunately, their efforts were in vain, and the child was pronounced dead shortly after.

The North Las Vegas Police Department’s investigation identified the infant’s uncle as the main suspect in this tragic event. As a result, Leo’oolo Tevaseu was arrested and placed in custody at the North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center.
