After being captured in an intriguing conversation at the Golden Globes, fans began speculating on the content of their discussion with Keleigh Sperry Teller. One rumor suggested that Kylie Jenner had allegedly declined Selena’s request for a photo with her and Timothée Chalamet.
However, the founder of Rare Beauty is now clarifying what truly transpired during their time together. So, was their conversation centered on Timothée and Kylie?
“I told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up,” Selena commented on E! News’ Instagram post regarding the situation on January 9. “Not that that’s anyone’s business.”
A source familiar with the situation previously informed E! that Selena never asked for a photo with Timothée, her co-star from the 2019 film A Rainy Day in New York.
“It’s not true that she approached them and requested a photo,” the insider told E! News on January 8. “She never crossed paths with them.”
Instead, Selena and Taylor were occupied enjoying their glamorous evening at the Globes, where they both received nominations. The Only Murders in the Building star was in the running for Best Television Female Actor in a Musical/Comedy Series (ultimately won by Ayo Edebiri from The Bear) while Taylor’s Eras Tour concert movie was nominated for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement (won by Barbie).
