Spanish Startup Frenetic Soars to Success with SpaceX

The collaboration between Spanish startup Frenetic and SpaceX has propelled Spanish innovation to new heights. Frenetic, a cutting-edge electronics company, designed and manufactured critical components that were aboard SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft on its CRS-30 mission to the International Space Station (ISS). This achievement showcases the increasing role of startups in the aerospace industry and the technological talent present in Spain.

SpaceX’s CRS-30 mission was part of the ISS Commercial Resupply Service and marked the 30th launch of SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft to the station. The Falcon 9 rocket took off from Space Launch Complex 40 in Cape Canaveral, Florida, and successfully docked with the ISS after about 40 hours of flight.

Frenetic played a crucial role in designing and assembling three specialized magnets that are integral to the power supply of a video camera used for scientific experiments in space. These magnets were created in partnership with Thales Alenia Space, a French space manufacturing company.

The Frenetic team, composed of experts in the field, worked tirelessly to overcome the challenges posed by the space environment. The most significant challenge was testing the components in extreme space-like conditions, showcasing Frenetic’s ability to deliver robust and reliable technology.

The quality of Frenetic’s work has caught the attention of prominent organizations in the aerospace industry. The startup has secured significant agreements with NASA and NASA JPL, utilizing its design algorithms and technology to create high-efficiency magnets for their projects.

Dr. Molina, the founder and CEO of Frenetic, expressed his excitement about the project, emphasizing the valuable lessons learned and the company’s capabilities. Frenetic’s success in putting magnetics in space solidifies its position as a key player in the space race.

With its ability to overcome challenges and deliver top-notch components, Frenetic continues to make a mark in the aerospace industry. As the company continues to innovate and collaborate with leading organizations, its role in shaping the future of space technology remains significant. Stay tuned for more groundbreaking developments from Frenetic.
