Introducing the Man Bringing a Lawsuit Against Megan Thee Stallion

Former Employee Sues Megan Thee Stallion for Labor Violations

Megan Thee Stallion, a renowned performer and celebrity crush, is facing allegations of toxic workplace culture and labor violations from a former employee, Emilio Garcia. In a legal complaint filed against Megan Thee Stallion and her companies, including Megan Thee Stallion Entertainment, Inc. and Hot Girl Touring, LLC, Garcia details a series of labor code violations, including harassment and hostile work environments.

Emilio Garcia worked as a cameraman for Megan Thee Stallion from 2018 until 2023. On April 23, he filed his complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing incidents that range from embarrassing mishaps to more severe body-shaming harassment and issues related to payment and retaliation.

The lawsuit includes allegations of inappropriate behavior by Megan Thee Stallion, such as having sex in a moving car while on tour in Spain in June 2022, which made Garcia feel uncomfortable and embarrassed. Stallion allegedly instructed him not to discuss what he saw, adding to the distressing situation.

Moreover, Garcia claims that Stallion body-shamed him, calling him a “fat bitch” and instructing him to “spit your food out,” which he found reprehensible coming from an employer. The lawsuit also alleges misclassification of Garcia’s role, leading to deprivation of healthcare and overtime pay, as well as changes in compensation that resulted in lower pay for the same work.

Garcia describes being on duty at all times, not receiving breaks for rest or meals, and being instructed that he could not work for anyone else. The termination of his contract in 2023 was perceived as retaliation for his complaints about harassment and improper compensation, leading to increased anxiety, depression, and physical distress.

In response to the lawsuit, Megan Thee Stallion’s attorney, Alex Spiro, dismissed the claims as an employment dispute for money without any sexual harassment allegations. Spiro vowed to address the matter in court, emphasizing that the salacious details in the lawsuit are meant to embarrass Stallion.

While the lawsuit paints a troubling picture of the workplace environment under Megan Thee Stallion, it remains to be seen how the legal proceedings will unfold and whether justice will be served for Emilio Garcia. Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story.
